DETROIT (AP) — A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and the Detroit Lions have agreed to terms on a contract.
The person spoke Tuesday night on condition of anonymity because the talks were confidential.
Both sides were working on the language of the deal and it was expected to be done by Wednesday.
Lions spokesman Bill Keenist said the team had nothing to announce or confirm at this time.
Suh is the former Nebraska defensive lineman who was the second overall pick in April’s draft.
