ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Concern about Pro Bowl center Shaun O’Hara’s left ankle is increasing with each day of practice the New York Giants veteran misses.
The Giants sent O’Hara to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City on Tuesday to have his swollen ankle examined.
The 33-year-old center took part in conditioning drills Sunday morning and a light workout that afternoon. He did not appear to hurt the ankle at any time.
Swelling developed in the ankle late Sunday and he has missed four practices over the past two days at the University at Albany.
