SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) — The Portland regional group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America is on its 45th annual tour.
The group is driving around the state with about 40 vintage automobiles built a century ago, hoping to lure the next generation of classic car lovers behind the wheel.
The national club is open to anyone with an interest and features pioneer gas, steam and electric motor vehicles built or manufactured before 1916.
The regional tours relax the rules a bit to include a few cars not quite as old, but almost.
