SEATTLE (AP) — President Barack Obama hopes to give Sen. Patty Murray a big boost in a quick stop Tuesday in Seattle, his first visit to Washington since his election.
After arriving at Boeing Field, Obama is appearing at a business round-table at a Pioneer Square bakery to talk about jobs.
The president headlines two fundraisers for Murray — a luncheon at the downtown Westin hotel and a private event at the home of RealNetworks founder Rob Glaser.
On a day that began for the president in Los Angeles, Seattle is a four-hour stop on the way to Columbus,Ohio. It’s part of a three-day, five state swing to endorse Democratic candidates and talk up the economy.
