HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) — A man who had threatened neighbors with a sword and then barricaded himself in his home was arrested after a three-hour standoff in Hoquiam.
Police forced their way into the home Thursday night and used a bean bag gun and a Taser to subdue the man. He suffered a broken arm and was taken to a hospital.
Officers found three swords, a pellet rifle and 29 marijuana plants when they searched the home.
