TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Tucson police say they have arrested two suspects wanted in Oregon on felony charges stemming from an assault on a child.

Police say 36-year-old Jeremy Dean Dover and 29-year-old Toni Michelle Dover were taken into custody Thursday with assistance from the U.S. Marshals’ Child Predator Apprehension Team.

Details of the Oregon case were not immediately disclosed and it was unclear whether the Dovers were related or a married couple.

Police say the Dover’s car was involved in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday in Tucson. During an investigation into the crash, police say they learned the Dovers were wanted in Polk County, Ore. The two were both arrested without incident and booked into the Pima County Jail.
