Ogide paces Colorado State past Drake 78-67

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Andy Ogide had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Colorado State to a 78-67 victory over Drake on Wednesday night in the Mountain West/Missouri Valley Challenge.

It was eighth career double-double for Ogide, who was 7-for-10 shooting. Andre McFarland sank four 3-pointers and 16 points, and Wes Eikmeier added 11 points for the Rams (3-1).

Colorado State had a 39-29 rebounding edge and tore apart Drake’s zone defense with 9-for-20 shooting from beyond the 3-points arc.

Ryan Wedel led the Bulldogs (2-4) with 16 points. Seth VanDeest scored 15 points and Rayvonte Rice had 14 before fouling out with 2:17 left.

Drake lost its third straight.
