FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons are listing Jason Snelling as questionable for Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay after the running back missed his third straight day of practice with a hamstring injury.

Snelling, the top backup to Michael Turner, has been held out again Friday. Coach Mike Smith said Thursday he hoped Snelling would be available for limited work Friday.

Snelling is second on the team with 300 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and third with 35 catches for 239 yards and two touchdowns.

The Falcons could have a shortage of running backs against the Buccaneers. Another backup, Antone Smith, also is questionable after missing Friday’s practice with a hamstring injury.

Smith says fullback Ovie Mughelli could help at running back if needed.
