Columbus activates Huselius off injured list

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Kristian Huselius off the injured list and placed center Derek MacKenzie on it.

General Manager Scott Howson announced the moves Wednesday.

Huselius has missed the last 22 games due to a lower-body injury from a game at Chicago on Oct. 23. He has three goals and two assists in seven games this season. He has 179 goals and 254 assists for 433 points in 628 career games with Florida, Calgary and the Blue Jackets.

MacKenzie injured his lower body against the New York Rangers on Dec. 11 and is listed as day to day. He has two goals and three assists in 23 games with the Blue Jackets this season and has five goals and eight assists in 87 career games with Atlanta and the Blue Jackets.
