Ohio rolls past St. Francis (Pa.) 87-58

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — D.J. Cooper scored 19 points to lead six Ohio players in double figures as the Bobcats rolled past St. Francis (Pa.) 87-58 on Wednesday night.

Tommy Freeman, who scored 15 points, hit five 3-pointers and Cooper added four as the Bobcats (6-4) went 15 for 29 from beyond the arc (51.7 percent).

Ohio shot 52.5 percent from the field (32 of 61) and outrebounded the Red Flash 43-27.

The Bobcats went on a 12-0 run to take a 27-15 lead with 8:52 left in the half. They led 51-25 at halftime after shooting 61.3 from the field (19 of 31) with nine 3-pointers.

Nick Kellogg added 12 points and DeVaughn Washington, Ivo Baltic and T.J. Hall added 10 points each for Ohio.

Will Felder had 19 points and 10 rebounds, his third consecutive double-double, to lead the Red Flash (2-8), who lost their sixth straight game. Umar Shannon added 16 points for St. Francis.
