The bulk of 340 jobs PeaceHealth plans to move to Vancouver will come from its facilities in Longview, Bellevue and Lane County, Ore., the nonprofit organization said this week.

PeaceHealth, which is moving its headquarters to Clark County as part of its merger with Southwest Washington Medical Center, will gradually relocate 267 nonclinical, back-office jobs between late 2011 and 2014. Of these, about 94 will come from Lane County operations, 84 from St. John Medical Center in Longview and about 89 from PeaceHealth’s executive offices in Bellevue, said Brien Lautman, a spokesman for PeaceHealth.

The nonprofit plans to relocate about 70 more positions, but it hasn’t yet determined those details yet. In addition, about 160 back-office positions currently at Southwest Washington Medical Center will be located at PeaceHealth’s shared services center, bringing total employment there to about 500.

The two nonprofits finalized their merger last week.
