A two-time “Survivor” contestant will provide an inside look at this season’s finale at a viewing party Sunday in downtown Vancouver.
“Jonny Fairplay” will host the event with his friend Alex Hart, a Vancouver resident, at The Atrium Lounge, 606 Broadway. It is free and open to the public.
The three-hour finale of “Survivor: Nicaragua” will air at 8 p.m. on CBS.
Fairplay (his real name is Jon Dalton) will provide the inside perspective of a two-time contestant. He finished third in 2003 on “Survivor: Pearl Islands.” His strategy of lying to generate sympathy made him a memorable character, which helped get him invited back for a “Fans vs. Favorites” edition of the show in 2008.
Hart, now a local Realtor, said he knows Dalton through an earlier career.
“We met when we were working for different radio stations in Portland a few years ago,” Hart said. “We both did sales.”
Hart is the son of Roger Hart, Portland disc jockey and manager of the 1960s-’70s rock group Paul Revere & The Raiders.
