AMES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa State guard DeMarcus Phillips has decided to transfer.
Coach Fred Hoiberg announced Phillips’ decision on Tuesday.
Phillips, a junior from Milwaukee, played in eight games this season, averaging 2.5 points. He was in his first season at Iowa State after playing the last two seasons at Marshalltown Community College.
