PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The former teen lover of Portland Mayor Sam Adams is planning to write a memoir.
In an e-mail to The Oregonian newspaper, Beau Breedlove says the book will be a reflection on the events of his life before, during and after the scandal.
It was a year ago this week that Adams admitted that he had lied during his election campaign about the nature of his relationship with Breedlove.
Though the two met when Breedlove was 17, an investigation by the Oregon attorney general’s office concluded there was no credible evidence the two had a sexual relationship before Breedlove turned 18.
