WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Rafael Nadal has reached his fourth Wimbledon final after beating Andy Murray in straight sets.

The top-ranked Spaniard was at his relentless best Friday. He won 6-4, 7-6 (6), 6-4 to move within one win of a second Wimbledon title and eighth Grand Slam championship.

Nadal’s opponent in Sunday’s final will be 12th-seeded Tomas Berdych, who defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the first semifinal.

Nadal ended the fourth-seeded Murray’s hopes of becoming the first British player to win the men’s title since Fred Perry in 1936. No British man has even reached the final since Henry “Bunny” Austin in 1938. British men have now lost in 10 Wimbledon semifinals since.
