DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Tigers have activated right-handed reliever Ryan Perry and recalled him from Triple-A Toledo.
The club also optioned right-hander Casey Fien to Toledo on Saturday.
Perry was placed on the disabled list June 10 because of tendinitis in his throwing shoulder and began a brief rehab assignment in Toledo 16 days later. He is 1-4 with a 5.82 ERA in 24 appearances this season.
Fien has appeared in only one game with Detroit this season.
