OAKVILLE, Wash. (AP) — A 30-year-old Olympia man has been arrested for first-degree assault following a drive-by shooting in Oakville over the weekend.

Grays Harbor Undersheriff Rick Scott says an Oakville woman reported that she and a 9-year-old child were standing outside at a neighbor’s home Saturday night. The woman told police a vehicle approached and fired several shots into the woman’s home.

KXRO reports that Thurston County sheriff’s deputies made the arrest Monday.
