JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie defensive end Austen Lane to a four-year contract.

A fifth-round draft pick from Murray State, Lane became the second rookie to sign with Jacksonville in as many days. Defensive end Larry Hart signed a four-year deal Tuesday.

Lane received a signing bonus around $180,000 and will earn minimum salaries each year. The minimum salary for rookies this year is $320,000, followed by $405,000 in 2011, $490,000 in 2012 and $575,000 in 2013.

The 6-foot-5, 274-pound Lane finished his college career with 29 sacks and 211 tackles. He was the 153rd overall pick in April’s draft, selected to help boost Jacksonville’s pass rush. He missed most of offseason workouts because of a hamstring injury.
