REDMOND, Wash. (AP) — The Russian man taken into custody in a spy ring investigation and deported had worked at Microsoft.
A spokesman for the company in Redmond, Lou Gellos (GEL’-ohs), confirmed Wednesday that Alexey Karetnikov worked nine months for the company.
Gellos says he was a low-level software tester.
