The city of La Center is accepting applications for one regular and one alternate planning commission member.
The city is accepting letters of interest until Aug. 13. Planning commission members must own land and live either in city limits or within the city’s urban growth area. The commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
The city is replacing former commission member Randy Williams, who was recently appointed to the city council. The city is also interested in finding an alternate member who can move onto the commission should a position open in the future.
