ALOHA, Ore. (AP) — A fire burned two garbage trucks, a drop box and equipment at Aloha Garbage and Recycling in the Portland suburb.

KGW-TV reports neighbors reported hearing explosions Thursday night, and fire officials say they were likely the sound of truck tires bursting.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.

Damage is estimated at $750,000. The company says garbage pickups Friday will be slower than usual.
