YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A wildfire that started Sunday and burned across nearly 10 square miles of dry grass and sagebrush in central Washington has been fully contained.

West Valley Fire and Rescue spokeswoman Christy Boisselle said Wednesday the estimated cost to fight the blaze is $800,000. Investigators are saying the fire was human-caused but have not yet determined whether it was accidental or intentional.

The spokeswoman says four outbuildings and one vacant residence were destroyed and a vacant structure owned by the Department of Fish and Wildlife was damaged.

Fences, pump houses and fruit trees also were damaged.

The blaze started about 10 miles west of downtown Yakima.
