FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots have signed two of their three second-round draft choices, reaching deals with tight end Rob Gronkowski and defensive lineman Jermaine Cunningham.

The Patriots drafted Gronkowski with the 42nd pick and grabbed Cunningham with the 53rd selection.

Gronkowski had 75 receptions for 1,197 yards and 16 touchdowns in two seasons at Arizona. Cunningham started 38 games at Florida and finished with 1912 sacks.

New England, which opens training camp on Thursday, announced the deals on Sunday night.

The Patriots have signed 10 of their 12 draft picks. Cornerback Devin McCourty, a first-round choice, and linebacker Brandon Spikes, selected in the second round, are still without deals.
