SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Although Marion County and Salem area transit workers are in the process of moving out of the failing Courthouse Square building in Salem, it’s open Monday to the public.

County business services director Dave Henderson told The Statesman Journal testing does not show a need to immediately evacuate the five-story building in downtown Salem.

The county plans to relocate workers within 90 days because of cracking walls, bent window frames and overloaded support columns.
