Vancouver seeks new lodging tax committee member

The City of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. The committee is a sevenmember body that makes recommendations to the Vancouver City Council regarding expenditures of the city’s lodging tax revenue.

The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee meets three to four times per year. Guidelines for committee membership are set by the Revised Codes of Washington. Applicants for the position must represent a business — such a hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts — that are required to collect lodging tax.
