California-based Telemark Corp. expects to relocate its manufacturing operations to space in the Battle Ground Corporate Center in September, according to a press release issued Monday. It will employ 15, with expansion to 50 jobs possible.

Telemark, which makes coating equipment and components, was enticed by a city incentive program that offered reduced development fees, according to a news release from the city. The company signed an agreement with Battle Ground developer Dennis Pavlina, president of the Gold Medal Group.

As part of the contract, the Gold Medal Group will build Telemark’s 20,000-square-foot facility on two acres south of the new Battle Ground Village development. Telemark will lease the building for five years with an option to purchase.
