WA raids net $1M in drugs, 10 arrests

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Drug enforcement agents have arrested 10 people in King and Snohomish counties and seized more than $1 million worth of drugs.

Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force spokesman Lt. Mark St. Clair says more than 1,500 marijuana plants, 60 pounds of pot and a kilo of cocaine were seized Tuesday.

As many as 100 federal agents and police officers from a number of agencies raided seven homes and two storage lockers. St. Clair says warrants were served in Everett, Lynnwood, Renton and Newcastle.
