The Scented Acres Lavender Farm will be the place to be on July 10, during a daylong lavenderpalooza celebrating the purple flowering plant.
The fifth annual lavender festival will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 13804 N.E. 117th Ave., farm owner Mary Jones said.
The event will feature lavender crafts, lavender lotions and lavender crafts. Festivalgoers with a sweet tooth can partake in lavender ice cream or lavender cookies, then wash it down with a cup of lavenade.
Jones said the five-acre farm includes a gift shop and nursery.
