EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Federal authorities say a man who went to prison for robbing a bank in north Eugene in 1992 pulled off another heist this month at a different bank branch.

FBI officials are seeking the arrest of 44-year-old Douglas Ray Hicks, the suspect in a June 17 bank robbery.

The Register-Guard newspaper says Hicks spent eight years in federal prison for bank robberies in 1992.

FBI spokeswoman Nancy Savage says an arrest warrant has been issued for Hicks, of Lane County.

A court affidavit says authorities identified Hicks as the suspect this month after recognizing him from surveillance photos.
