Clark County is giving out up to $15,000 in grants to local organizations with programs dedicated to spaying and neutering animals.

To apply, submit an application by 5 p.m. March 31 to the county’s Animal Protection and Control Advisory Board.

For an application, visit http://www.clark.wa.gov/commdev/documents/animal/sn-prgm-app-2010.pdf. Or call 360-397-2375, ext. 5852, or e-mail adrienne.willows@clark.wa.gov.

Decisions will be made by county’s three commissioners.

The program is funded by the county and the City of Vancouver as an effort to reduce animal control and shelter costs.
