Carbo is a 3-year-old male black and white domestic short hair. He came to us as a stray so we don’t know much about his past. Here he has been a very quiet boy so he would do best in a quieter home without kids under the age of 10. He seems like he would make a great lap cat but he will want the laps all to himself, so no other cats. He can be shy at first but once you get to know this sweet boy he would love to be your snuggle buddy.
Jakie is a 1½-year-old pointer and Lab mix who came in as a stray. He seems to love everyone he meets. Jakie would need to meet any children or dogs he would be living with, so please bring them in when you come to see him. He would do best in a home without cats.
These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver.
