ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) — State police say only person was injured — and it was minor — in a nine-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 in Roseburg.

Troopers say Friday’s crash occurred in a highway work zone during a rainstorm.

It began when a car driven by a 20-year-old Roseburg woman hydroplaned.

The vehicle struck the median and came to rest in the northbound lanes. Eight other vehicles collided with each other while trying to stop, including five passenger cars, one loaded log truck and two pickups pulling travel trailers.
