Coos County man pleads guilty in brother’s death

COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) — A 41-year-old man has admitted killing his brother in Coquille last fall.

Nathan Wallace pleaded guilty to manslaughter this week as part of a plea deal with the Coos County district attorney. The charge carries a minimum sentence of six years and three months in prison.

Police found Wallace’s brother in a trailer Nov. 22, bleeding from a stab wound to his abdomen.

Lee Wallace later died at Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay.
