SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Buster Posey hit a run-scoring double with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the San Francisco Giants to a 7-6 victory over a Cleveland Indians split-squad on Friday.

Indians left-hander Tony Sipp walked Matt Downs, who advanced to second base on a passed ball before Posey’s go-ahead hit.

Aubrey Huff hit a two-run double off right-hander Justin Masterson in the first inning.

Masterson, the likely No. 3 man in the rotation behind Jake Westbrook and Fausto Carmona, gave up six runs on nine hits in 3 1-3 innings. Giants left-hander Jonathan Sanchez didn’t fare much better, giving up three runs on four hits in four innings.
