Arrests made in DUI emphasis patrol Saturday night

Results of March 20 Emphasis Patrol

A DUI emphasis patrol on March 20, 2010 marks another successful campaign for the Clark County Target Zero Taskforce.

13 police officers from the Washington State Patrol, the Clark County Sheriff Office, the Vancouver Police Department, the Battle Ground Police Department, the Camas Police Department, and the Washougal Police Department united together in an effort to remove impaired drivers from Clark County roads.

Results of the emphasis patrol were:

12 DUI Arrests

2 Minor In Possession of Alcohol Arrests

1 Felony Drug Arrest

10 Misdemeanor Drug Arrests

2 Felony Warrant Arrests

1 Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest

4 Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked Arrests

Future multi-agency emphasis patrols will occur throughout the year.

The Clark County Law Enforcement community is committed in removing impaired drivers from our roadways, in an effort to make them safer for the motoring public.

This emphasis patrol marked the second patrol in two weeks that removed a total of 23 impaired drivers from Clark County roadways.
