Small wind group begins site assessor training

PORTLAND — The Oregon Small Wind Energy Association will hold small wind site assessor training April 19-23 in Portland.

Mike Sagrillo of Sagrillo Power & Light and Greg Price, a 28-year wind-industry veteran and a small wind sales and marketing manager with eight years of experience, will teach the workshop, which is intended to prepare attendees for small wind site assessor exams and practical installations.

The training is the first in a series of four small wind energy workshops provided by the association.

To register, e-mail training@oswea.org. Cost is $700 for association members and $875 for nonmembers. Energy Trust of Oregon trade industry allies may receive up to a $400 training reimbursement.
