Reward offered to catch La Conner eagle killer

LA CONNER, Wash. (AP) — The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward up to $2,500 to help find the person who shot and killed a bald eagle near La Conner.

The fatally wounded eagle was alive when it was found May 6 in a ditch but died on the way to a clinic.
