IRVING, Texas (AP) — James Nitties and Jason Day had four birdies and took the early lead in the Byron Nelson Championship when play was delayed because of bad weather.

Nitties had just made the turn and Day was playing his ninth hole when the siren went off because of threatening skies.

Nitties and Day were at 4 under on the par-70 TPC Four Seasons course.

Defending champion Rory Sabbatini was even through 11 holes.
