NYON, Switzerland (AP) — UEFA says it sent officials to Hungary last week to interview soccer players as part of an investigation into match-fixing.

The European soccer governing body did not identify the club or which of its competitions is under suspicion.

Hungarian club Debrecen reached the Champions League group stage this season, and lost all six matches it played against Fiorentina, Liverpool and Lyon. Honved, Ujpest and Haladas each was eliminated in the Europa League qualifying rounds.

UEFA said in November it was investigating Honved’s 5-1 loss away to Fenerbahce for suspected match-fixing.

More than 200 suspect matches involving teams in at least 12 countries have been examined by UEFA and police in Bochum, Germany.
