ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — The Transportation Department is expected to decide by the end of the year whether pontoons for a new Highway 520 floating bridge at Seattle will be constructed in Aberdeen or Hoquiam.
KXRO reports the department is expected to release an environmental impact statement next week on the two sites. A public hearing is scheduled for June 24 at Aberdeen High School.
