SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Stephen Strasburg has completed his fourth Triple-A start for the Syracuse Chiefs, allowing his first runs at the top level of the minor leagues.

Strasburg pitched five innings against the Toledo Mud Hens on Monday night and allowed five hits and two runs, one earned. He threw 52 pitches, 36 for strikes, did not walk anyone and struck out five, departing with the game tied 2-all.

Strasburg, the top pick in the 2009 amateur draft by the Washington Nationals, was finally touched for an unearned run in the top of the third, ending his scoreless streak of 20 1-3 innings. Deik Scram hit a hard grounder over the bag at first and down the right-field line for a triple and scored on a passed ball by catcher Devin Ivany.
