FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets sputtered on offense in their last game, stunningly putting up no points despite having so many playmakers.
Some media members and fans have speculated that perhaps the problem is the Jets have too many targets, complicating gameplans for offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Not so, Schottenheimer insists. He says Thursday that having all of that talent is a “luxury” and not a problem for him, and he and Sanchez feel no pressure to try to keep everyone happy.
Running back LaDainian Tomlinson understands how it could be a challenge for Schottenheimer. He also insists the Jets skill players are an unselfish bunch and the offense simply had a bad game against Green Bay.
