MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Ryan Radcliff threw his second touchdown pass of the night in the fourth quarter to give Central Michigan a 26-22 comeback win over Western Michigan on Friday night.

Western (3-6, 2-3 Mid-American Conference) took a 22-13 lead late in the third quarter on Juan Nunez’s 11-yard touchdown reception.

The Chippewas (3-7, 2-5) responded with two touchdowns, a 1-yard run by Carl Volny and Kito Poblah’s 5-yard catch with 6:10 left. The 2-point conversion failed, but it was enough for the Chippewas.

Western’s Alex Carder also threw two TD passes. He was 27 of 44 for 272 yards.

Radcliff, who finished 23 of 36 for 300 yards, was sacked in the end zone in the first quarter to make it 7-2.

Central’s Cody Wilson caught 12 passes for 185 yards and a first-quarter TD.
