BOSTON (AP) — Boston Celtics center Shaquille O’Neal has missed his third straight game because of a bruised right knee.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said before Friday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls that he didn’t know how long O’Neal would be out.

The 38-year-old O’Neal was injured last week against the New York Knicks when he banged his knee against Amare Stoudamire.

O’Neal is averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in three games this season.
