BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Bremerton police broke down an apartment door and found an injured man and three people with blood on their clothing.

The Kitsap Sun says officers were responding Sunday afternoon to an anonymous call of a man being held against his will.

Det. Sgt. Kevin Crane says the victim had been assaulted late Saturday or early Sunday. He was able to speak to police at Harrison Medical Center.

The three other people in the apartment were detained for questioning.
