Dreamtheimpossible brings $2.55M at Keeneland sale

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Dreamtheimpossible, in foal to Galileo, brought $2.55 million for the top price of the second session of Keeneland’s November Breeding Stock Sale.

Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs Farm purchased the 4-year-old daughter of Giant’s Causeway on Tuesday. Dreamtheimpossible was consigned by Eaton Sales as agent.

Five horses sold for $1 million or more during the session, including $1.85 million for Lucky One, dam of 2010 Kentucky Oaks winner Blind Luck. The 8-year-old mare was sold in foal to Pollard’s Vision, Blind Luck’s sire. Shadai Farm won the bid for Lucky One, consigned by Fairlawn Farm.

A total of 143 horses sold Tuesday for $31,375,000, an average of $219,406.

The sale continues through Nov. 20.
