ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks have sent left wing Matt Beleskey and right wing Dan Sexton to their minor league affiliate in Syracuse to continue their rehabilitation from injuries.

Anaheim also assigned defenseman Danny Syvret to Syracuse and recalled defenseman Luca Sbisa on Wednesday before the Ducks hosted the New York Islanders.

Beleskey got a concussion last month in a game against Dallas, while Sexton had surgery last month after getting hit in the face by a puck, breaking his nose. Both have been cleared to return to the ice.

But both forwards struggled before their injuries, and the Ducks elected to stick with young forwards Kyle Palmieri and Nick Bonino, who have contributed to Anaheim’s four-game winning streak since their recalls.
