PITTSBURGH (AP) — Steelers left guard Chris Kemoeatu, held out of practice all week with knee and ankle injuries, was inactive for Sunday night’s game against New England.

The Steelers also were without left tackle Max Starks (neck), who is out for the season. Jonathan Scott started for Starks and Ramon Foster replaced Kemoeatu.

The Patriots didn’t activate running back Fred Taylor, wide receiver Taylor Price, cornerback Darius Butler, safety Jarrad Page, offensive linemen Rich Ohrnberger and Mark LeVoir, center Stephen Neal and defensive lineman Myron Pryor.

Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel (hamstring) was inactive for the third time in four games. Pittsburgh also held out safety Will Allen (concussion, illness), running back Jonathan Dwyer, wide receiver Antonio Brown and defensive end Aaron Smith (triceps), who may miss the rest of the season.
