SEATTLE (AP) — A woman accused of driving her pickup truck into a crowd of people outside a Seattle nightclub has pleaded not guilty to vehicular assault charges.

Juanita Wright entered her plea Monday in King County Superior Court.

Four pedestrians were seriously injured on the night of Oct. 28 while trying to cross First Avenue South. A fifth person suffered bruises and scrapes.

Charging papers say the 43-year-old driver’s truck was filled with empty and partially empty cans of high-alcohol beer. Police say her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.29 percent. Washington’s legal intoxication threshold is 0.08 percent.
