SEATTLE (AP) — A November windstorm hit Western Washington with gusts as high as 60 mph, knocking out electricity to more than 150,000 customers.

Downed trees and power lines also disrupted traffic on several area highways. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Late Monday night, Tacoma Power reported 54,000 customers without electricity. Puget Sound Energy reports 45,000 of its customers lost power. KOMO-TV says Peninsula Light Company reported 26,000 outages while Snohomish County PUD had more than 20,000 and Seattle City Light reported 17,000 customers in the dark.

National Weather Service meteorologist Jay Neher (Nare) says a 60 mph gust was reported near North Bend and a 57 mph gust near Anacortes. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport reported a top gust of 49 mph.
